This presentation includes a special Booth Meet with Trevor Stuurman to celebrate the launch of his latest publication Reflecting B(l)ack at 16:00 on Saturday the 4th of May, at Booth 16.
1-54 is the leading art fair dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and will be held for the first time at the Starrett-Leihigh Building, located at 255 11th Avenue in New York City from 1 - 4 May 2024. Celebrating its milestone 10th year, this edition’s expansion to the prestigious Starrett-Lehigh Building includes a diverse selection of over 30 international galleries and will exhibit artwork from over 70 artists from Africa and the global diaspora. This expansion underscores the fair’s commitment to showcasing the richness and diversity of contemporary African art on a global stage.
