THK will present for the first time work by esteemed painter, Gillian Rosselli who most recently exhibited at the Pavillion of Zimbabwe at the Venice Biennale. Her work delves into the complexities of domestic violence, the lasting impact of colonization, and the challenges faced by refugees. Through her distinctive artistic language, Rosselli seeks to connect with viewers on a global level, addressing themes of identity, gender, and collective narratives.
Abdus Salaam will present sculptural works made in residency at the Giorgio Angeli Residency in Pietrasanta, Italy alongside new paintings by Lulama Wolf who was most recently awarded the Artist of the Year prize by House & Garden, in partnership with Norval Foundation.
