THK is pleased to announce their participation in Art Düsseldorf with a solo presentation by Mille Kaslmose (b.1972, Horsens, Denmark) as well as her large scale installation, Cosmic Relations, in the special projects section. Kalsmose will be in attendance at the fair, which taking place this year from 10-13 April, with the vernissage on the 10th.
Kalsmose's practice explores themes of identity, memory, and transformation through refined materiality and poetic form. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including the United Nations Headquarters in New York, ARoS Aarhus Art Museum in Denmark, and the Museum of Visual Arts (MAVI) in Santiago, Chile.
Kalsmose was awarded the Heitland Foundation's Honorary Prize in 2025. In addition, one of her monumental sculptures was acquired for the permanent collection of the Espoo Museum of Modern Art in Finland, where it is currently on view in the exhibition Arte Povera – A New Chapter. This landmark show places foundational figures such as Eva Hesse and Louise Bourgeois in dialogue with contemporary voices like Kalsmose.
